Jacks favorite tree.
Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jack who loved to climb trees. He had a favorite tree in his backyard that he would climb up to the very top and sit there to gather his thoughts after a day at school of the stresses of bullying and whatnot.
One day, Jack came home from school feeling particularly down. He had been bullied by some kids in his class and was feeling very sad. He went straight to his favorite tree and climbed up to the topmost branch. As he sat there, he looked out at the world around him and felt a sense of peace.
As he sat there, he began to think about all the things that had happened to him that day. He thought about how mean the kids had been to him and how much it had hurt his feelings. But as he looked out at the world around him, he began to feel better.
He watched as the sun began to set and the sky turned orange and pink. He saw birds flying overhead and squirrels running up and down the trees. He felt a sense of calm wash over him as he realized that there was so much more to life than just the bad things that happened.
As he climbed down from the tree, he made a decision. He decided that he wasn’t going to let the bullies get him down anymore. He was going to stand up for himself and be proud of who he was.
From that day on, Jack continued to climb his favorite tree every day after school. And every time he did, he felt a sense of peace and calm wash over him. He knew that no matter what happened during the day, he could always come back to his tree and find solace.
Years went by, and Jack grew up. He went off to college and then got a job in the city. But no matter where he went or what he did, he never forgot about his favorite tree. Whenever he came home to visit his parents, he would always make sure to climb up to the topmost branch and sit there for a while.
One day, when Jack was visiting his parents, he noticed that his favorite tree was looking sickly. Its leaves were turning brown, and it didn’t seem as strong as it used to be. Jack knew that something had to be done.
He called up an arborist who came out and examined the tree. The arborist told Jack that the tree was sick and needed some special care if it was going to survive.
So Jack spent the next few weeks taking care of his favorite tree. He watered it every day, gave it special nutrients, and even talked to it when no one was around. And slowly but surely, the tree began to recover.
Years went by, and Jack continued to take care of his favorite tree. And even though it wasn’t as big or strong as it used to be, it still held a special place in Jack’s heart.
In fact, when Jack got married, he decided to have his wedding under his favorite tree. It was a beautiful ceremony, with friends and family gathered around as Jack said his vows under the branches of his beloved tree.
And when Jack’s children were born, he would take them out into the backyard and show them his favorite tree. He would tell them stories about how it had helped him through tough times when he was their age.
And so it went on for many years until one day when Jack was an old man. He went out into his backyard one last time and climbed up into his favorite tree. As he sat there looking out at the world around him, he felt a sense of peace wash over him.
And then, with a smile on his face, Jack closed his eyes for the last time
